This election has been anything but boring! A contested election? Not involving George Bush? Who would’ve thought it.
Come on, admit it. When you first heard the news that someone was disqualified from the presidential race you immediately thought of Harry Cole and the EUSA-less business. Well, we did. But no!
Adam Ramsay is the one that’s been up to dirty tricks. According to his enemies. What we know of the events they sound very tame. Adam’s statement on the matter deserves repeating, and we’re hoping to have news from the other camps later tonight.
“Hello all,
Just to keep you posted, on Wednesday, two of my campaigners were found in Pollock outside the hours you are allowed to campaign there. I had told them not to, but they went anyway.
My opponents kicked up a big fuss, and the returning officer decided to disqualify me. I am in the process of appealing this decision. However, I am confident tht (sic) I won the popular vote, and will win the appeal, so all looks positive.
Thanks for your support over the last few weeks.
Adam”
As soon as we know you’ll know.
